Who is Tiffany?

Tiffany is originally from Toronto, Canada, but she now resides in Seattle, WA. She got her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 2016, where she studied English, Philosophy, and Writing & Rhetoric to ready herself for a career in publishing. After a few years in that world, she wanted a change. Life gave her a bit of a push (with the pandemic shutting down the in-flight magazine where she had been working), so she went back to school to get her Masters degree in Couple & Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. Her anticipated graduation date is December, 2025.

Fun facts:

• She is neurodivergent and diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD). [She once believed she would never be able to be a therapist because of those things. Now she hopes to reduce the stigma of mental health issues wherever she goes!]

• She loves philosophy! She can ponder life’s big questions for hours: free will vs. determinism, metaphysics, ethics, and more…

• She’s polyamorous, which is part of the story of why she’s deeply committed to being non-judgmental of others’ choices, even if they differ from “the norm.”

• She has an atrocious memory for some things and an amazing memory for others. She’s a skilled note-taker for this reason.

• She enjoys making 3D models and renderings in her spare time, as well as “playing” in Photoshop or Illustrator whenever she comes up with a project.

• She’s an identical twin! Her sister is currently studying to also become a therapist.
